Gima-Ha Karate (formerly called Shōtō-Ryu) is a fusion between mainline Shotokan and the original style from Okinawa.

We encompass both the standardised Shōtō-Kan as seen in Japan Karate Association, Shōtōkan Karate International, All Japan Karate-Do Shōtō-Kan etc.

Our karate differs in our Koryu (old School kata) and the ‘Funakoshi Nage-waza’ (throwing techniques) which augment the standard curriculum.
